The committee are aware that there were several regular players who did not receive an invitation to play at the beginning of this season.  As you know, several key committee members stood down at the AGM in February 2008, and the transition to the new committee did not go as smoothly as we would have liked.  We'd like to emphasise that any omissions in invitations were not deliberate - you haven't been dropped from the orchestra - and we'd like to apologise for any upset or offence we may have caused.  If you were one of the players who didn't receive an invitation, and you'd like to play in the next concert, please get in touch with the Secretary, Karen Maughan.  You can use the enquiry form on this site.

 

One of the reasons we had difficulty with this season's invitations was because we didn't have an up to date list of players, and the list we had contained some inaccurate details.  We have collected comprehensive contact information from the players in the October concert, but if you didn't play and you think we may not have your contact details, please send them to Karen.  Please don't assume that if you played last season, we have your details - it's best to get in touch to confirm them.

Subscriptions are currently £10 per concert, payable to the Treasurer, Paul Cowley, at rehearsals.

I'm pleased to report that all subscriptions for October 2008 have been paid (well done), although there is still one person who hasn't yet paid for March 2008.
